1 min read

On June 16th at about 1:54 PM, the Rochester Police Department, Fire Department and Frisbie EMS responded to a 2-vehicle collision on Gonic Rd. near the Gear Rd. intersection involving a dump truck.  The investigation revealed that Joshua Lapierre, 32 of Rochester, was northbound in a 2010 Kia when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck the southbound 2010 Peterbilt dump truck driven by Gary Musler, age 55 of Barrington.

Gary Musler was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with unspecified non-life threatening injuries.  Joshua Lapierre was arrested at the scene for operating a vehicle while being deemed a Habitual Offender.  Lapierre was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.  His front and side curtain airbags did deploy.

The southbound lane was closed while the scene was investigated and cleared. Northbound traffic had to be re-routed down Gear Rd. during the interim.   A member of Troop G of the NH State Police responded to assist with the investigation as it involved a commercial motor vehicle.

Both vehicles had to be removed from the scene.
