Rochester Police and Fire Departments Respond to Two-Car Crash on Rochester Hill Road

On behalf of Chief Paul Toussaint, the Rochester Police Department releases the following:

On 12/17/17 at approximately 5:56 PM Rochester Police, Rochester Fire, and Frisbie EMS responded to the area of 145 Rochester Hill Road for a two car motor vehicle collision. The investigation revealed that Jose Cuevas Checo (age 43, of Rochester, NH) was operating a GMC Envoy traveling East on Rochester Hill Road. Also in the vehicle was Ana Rita Oualles (age 41, of Rochester, NH) as well as three minor children. At that time John Mcgarvey (age 33 of Farmington, NH) was operating a Nissan Pathfinder, also traveling East on Rochester Hill Road. As the Envoy slowed the two vehicles collided. As a result of the collision Mcgarvey was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with non life threatening injuries. All occupants of the GMC Envoy were evaluated by EMS, however none were transported to the hospital. While emergency crews were on scene Rochester Hill Road was shut down for a short period of time. The case is still under investigation at this time. Anyone with information about this collision is asked to contact the Rochester Police Department at 603-330-7128.
